Job Description:
Work remotely with the Storyboard Supervisor and Director
You will be storyboarding for a pre-school TV series/3D CGI production with best
use of 3d space and camera
Respond well to notes and be able to translate revisions during storyboard review and
animatic process
Adhere to the quality and style of the show and make sure it is consistently achieved
in your drawing
Meet all deadlines as determined by the Producer or Production Manager
Requirements:
Ideally you have experience in storyboarding for pre-school TV series
Must have strong drawing and storytelling skills for action sequences
CGI boarding experience a plus
Must be able to work digitally
Clear communication skills
Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Must be very detailed oriented and organised
Must passionate about character animation and acting
Will be required to do hands-on digital revisions
Good eye for continuity

ANIMATOR (2D)
We are looking for an ANIMATOR to create a walk-cycle for the lead character.
Candidates must have credited experience of working as an Animator in ToonBoom Animate Pro orHarmony, preferably on a broadcast pre-school series.
BACKGROUND DESIGNER/ARTIST
The Background Designer will work within the Art Dept to develop background concepts and help refine the series colour palette.
Specifically, the BACKGROUND DESIGNER will create four key background location concepts, based on the Art Director’s brief and the series Pitch Bible.
Candidates will have credited experience of working as a Background Artist on a broadcast preschool series, and, ideally, will have experience with ToonBoom Harmony
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN ARTIST(TOONBOOM HARMONY)
The Character Breakdown Artist will work with the Art Dept to make the lead character ready for animation in Animate Pro.
At this development stage, we will be looking to use an Open Rig technique with Stop-Motion animation.
The BREAKDOWN ARTIST will
breakdown and rig the Lead Character for walk-cycle animation
review the final designs of a handful of characters for breaking down and rigging in the New
Year
set-up the library of assets, ready for use by the series
Candidates must have experience of working as a Character Breakdown Artist in ToonBoom Animate Pro or Harmony.
CHARACTER DESIGNER (TOONBOOM)
A Pitch Bible has been created by the Channel, showing the lead characters and some aspects of the world of the series. The Character Designer will work with the Art Director to refine and create further characters.
Specifically, the CHARACTER DESIGNER will refine two existing characters from the Pitch Bible and create four new characters in the same style, ready for animation in ToonBoom Harmony.
The successful candidate will have credited experience of working as a Character Designer on a preschool series, and will be able to demonstrate design work aimed at the target audience.
Ideally, he or she will have worked in ToonBoom Animate Pro or Harmony, though this is not essential.

COMPOSITOR (TOONBOOM HARMONY)
The Art Dept is creating characters, locations and a colour palette for the series. As part of the
development, the lead character will be animated through a walk-cycle.
The COMPOSITOR will work with the Animator to composite the walk-cycle against a background,creating a final piece which can be presented to the commissioning channel.
Candidates must have experience of working in ToonBoom Animate Pro or Harmony.
Production Co-Ordinator
Summary of responsibilities:
Schedule and monitor work for the team.
Track the animation assets, helping to set-up the character and backgrounds library for the
series production.
General finance and admin duties.
Person Specification:
Experience working in ToonBoom Animate Pro or Harmony an advantage but not essential.
1-3 years working in a past faced production environment for TV/Film
Ability to work on own initiative
Proven track record of excellent organizational and communication skills
Works well as part of a team
Production Assistant
Summary of the role:
Work with the Production Team, in particular with the Production Manager and Coordinator
to ensure an efficient and fast flow of information across the departments
Conforming Storyboards for animation shipment
Maintain tracking documents and keep asset database up to date with all necessary information
Accurate notes taking on production meetings and conference calls
Responsible for preparing Modelsheets and updating the asset database with the most current design and information
Prepare handout packages for various freelancers, ensure notes and asset information is accurate
Follow through on assignments and take on busy work from the production team
Person Specification:
Previous Production experience required
Experienced in database work and maintaining tracking documents
Good understanding of schedules and deadlines
Clear and fast communicator of production information
Comfortable in working to tight deadlines
Microsoft Office, in particularly Excel (required)
Strong knowledge of FTP software (required)
Good Knowledge of Photoshop and Acrobat
