 CHARACTER ARTIST


To take advantage of this fantastic opportunity you will need a strong portfolio which will demonstrate:


A good understanding of human anatomy.
Exceptional visual and technical understanding in 3D modelling & texturing (both high- & low- resolution characters)
Highly experienced in one or more 3D applications (Maya)
Experienced in one or more 3D sculpting applications (ZBrush, Mudbox)
An ability to work from concept/photo reference
The ability to adapt to a concept and style of a given project
A demonstration of ability in multiple styles of art, examples being; cartoon and realistic
Knowledge of how to build character models for animation; correct edge loop layout
A background knowledge of rigging and animation is a bonus but not a requirement
An ability to draw and produce concept art is considered a bonus, but not a requirement

You will also require the following skills:


Experience in the game industry and involvement in a full game cycle
Excellent self-organization and communication skills
The ability to resolve production issues
The ability to work well in a team, to iterate your work and receive constructive criticism
The ability to deliver work in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.
A good eye for detail and proportions
High ability in the use of Maya, Photoshop and Zbrush
Moderate to High ability in mapping programs such as X-Normal and Topogun
Demonstrable skills in modelling, texturing, UV layout and sculpting

Other qualities we would like to see:


A passion for games and art
Knowledge of animal anatomy
Past experience with game engines and achieving best results with these tools
The ability to work under pressure

 CONCEPT ARTIST


Responsibilities


Assists in establishing style for production Art
Maintain consistent style under the Art Director and Product Lead
Participates in concept art critiques
Create production designs for assets, environments and characters
Participates in setting global quality targets for production

Experience and Skills


Relevant degree in Fine Art/Computer
3+ released titles on any platform
Proficient time management and organisation skills
A passion for making games!



SENIOR ARTIST

Responsibilities:


• Assist in defining visual and art standards/systems and ensure all creative material is consistent
• Contribute to the development of the artistic techniques and processes
• Create game assets for use on all mobile platforms
• Identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement within the creative process
• Assist with skill development and mentoring of internal artists
• Take an active role in developing, maintaining, and refining a vision for art direction
• Work with the Product Leads to help them realise the artistic vision for their games

Essential Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):


• Must have worked on at least one published title from concept to finish
• Experience in 3D software (preferably Maya) and Photoshop
• Solid foundational 2D & 3D art skills
• Demonstrable skills focused on polygon budgets
• Organic and hard-surface modelling/lighting/FX
• Ability to create high performance, high quality assets



UI ARTIST


Responsibilities:


• Produce Flash User Interfaces design
• Technical implementation as per design
• Asset management within Flash
• Defining Flash-to-game communication
• Assist in scheduling
• Prototyping UI functionality

Skills:


• Excellent knowledge of ActionScript 2.0 / 3.0
• Excellent UX design skills
• Good knowledge of Scaleform
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail , good work estimation
• Solid graphic design and illustration skills.
• Good working knowledge of games and the games industry, particularly social and
mobile games.
• Expert with standard art tools of the trade (Photoshop, Illustrator) Flash.
• Can iterate documents that convey clear and complete user/data flows prior to development. [ Visio or similar layout tools]
• Flash scripting and knowledge of Scaleform, Javascript, HTML and XML.

Experience:


• Relevant professional experience

• Working knowledge of LUA/XML and Maya
• Experience of SCRUM
• Strong illustration skills.



ANIMATOR



Key Accountabilities:


• Asset creation for in house game development
• Asset creation for marketing material (show reels, tutorial videos etc)
• Provide feedback to developers of in house animation tools

Knowledge / skills required:


• Good working knowledge of games and the games industry, particularly social and mobile games
• Knowledge of at least 2 animation systems
(Preferably including MotionBuilder and Maya)
• Passion for creating realistic character animation
• Open mindedness to new ways of creating character animation
• Ability to work well as part of a collaborate team
• Ability to work within a schedule

Experience required:


• Experience developing & optimising on PlayStation 3 and/or Xbox 360
• Worked on at least one shipping game

Qualification(s):


• Preferably a degree in an animation related subject, or up to 2 years’ industry experience
