Animator


Responsibilities

We're looking for talented animators who also exhibit abilities and interest in other aspects of production. Candidate will need to have a strong understanding of character animation, and also willing and able to chip in with other elements of production when needed. No one trick ponies here. Ideal animator will have a strong technical mind, attention to detail, as well as great creative sensibilities. Rigging or other skills a huge plus.
 

Qualifications


Must be a team player, a 'get it done' attitude, willing to learn new things, and help out production in other parts of the pipeline if needed. Knowledge of Maya required, any additional software knowledge or skill sets is a plus. Prior film experience is NOT required.

CG supervisor


Responsibilities

Performing tasks associated with lighting, shading and rendering processes.
Managing a production team of 3d artists within established timeframes.
Assigning tasks, tutoring, creative and technical coaching of team members.
Supervising and reviewing the work of team members.
 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years VFX post-production experience, this must be recent.
  • Solid previous experience as CG or 2D Supervisor and most recently CG Supervisor experience on previous major projects.
  • Creative eye and aesthetic judgement with a deep understanding of composition,cinematic design and animation timing.
  • Must have vast understanding of anatomy, rigging, cg lighting, rendering, compositing.Should have an eye for animation and FX work as well.
  • Comfortable with relocation from country to country as required.
  • Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines often under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, organization skills, management skills.
  • Expert in industry standard software packages such as Maya, and Nuke. 
  • Proven team leader with strong motivational qualities.

        Responsibilities

        • Compositing of both digital and live action elements to create groundbreaking visual effects shots for blockbuster films
        • Collaborate with fellow artist and supervisors to meet challenging production deadlines in a positive work environment

        Qualifications

        • Must be well versed Nuke (background with Shake considered a plus)
        • Should have a good understanding of 3d multi-pass rendering techniques and colorspace concepts
        • Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines
        • An understanding of stereo (3D) and anamorphic compositing in Nuke
        • Artists must be able to take direction and work in a team focused environment, good communication skills are a must
        • Relocation assistance may be available subject to negotiation

                      Responsibilities

                      • Light and render FX passes for specific shots using developed FX rigs
                      • Develop rigs/techniques to implement and optimize approved looks
                      • Produce look tests based on provided reference materials
                      • Creation of tools and scripts to facilitate workflow

                      Qualifications

                      • Artist should be familiar with more than one of the following applications:
                      • Python scripting experience is a plus
                      • Understanding multi pass 3D compositing is a plus
                      • Artists must be able to take direction and work in a team focused environment, good communication skills are a must
                      • Strong time management skills and extremely organized.
                      • Solid work ethic and a positive attitude in the face of challenging situations.

                        • Should be proficient in both Lighting & Compositing. 
                        • Lighting look development for integration of CG elements into Live Action, CG assets as well as full CG shots. 
                        • Develop methodologies for reduction of render time and improving quality of results.

                        Qualifications

                        • Artist must be proficient in Maya, and have in-depth knowledge of rendering and optimization. 
                        • Knowledge of Nuke is mandatory.
                        • Knowledge of Arnold is a plus. 
                        • Should have a deep understanding of 3d multi-pass rendering techniques and colorspace concepts.
                        • An understanding of stereo (3D) and anamorphic compositing in Nuke is a plus.
                        • Artists must be able to take direction and work in a team-focused environment, good communication skills are a must.
                        • Must possess strong time management skills and be extremely organized.

                        Responsibilities

                        • Polygonal modeling of organic creatures/objects/terrains/ from photo reference
                        • Optimization of UV's for maximum efficiency
                        • Develop multilayered photo-real textures for use in multi-pass rendering

                        Qualifications

                        • Artist must be well versed with Maya and Z-Brush skills are a plus
                        • Artist must have an understanding of pipeline based productions and multi-pass rendering methods
                        • Artist must submit show reel demonstrating their ability to model and texture photo-real creatures, characters or environments
                        • Artists must be able to take direction and work in a team oriented environment, greatcommunication skills are a must

                        • 2D tracking
                        • Matte extraction

                        • Artist should have at least one year of experience working on feature films or HD Teleproduction
                        • Artists must know Nuke, and experience in Maya is a plus

                                      • Thorough understanding of 3D camera principles lenses, distortion, parallax, camera projection, overscan, cornerpins
                                      • Artist must be well versed with Maya, Boujou, Matchmover, Syntheyes, PFTrack or other tracking software
