Dreamworks Animation and PTCH are looking for an Art Director to join in the design and development of its revolutionary mobile app that bridges content creation and the consumer experience.
This is an excellent to join the core development team in a high energy and well-funded startup with laser-like clarity of the opportunity and super high ambition to execute.
In this position you will produce deliverables, look and feel mockups, and user interface designs for mobile applications. Occasionally you may also design other presentation and marketing collateral.
We are looking for a talented Art Director with strong social media and mobile design aesthetics with an incredible work ethic.
 

Qualifications

• An understanding and implementation of current and successful design aesthetics/principles and usability best practices for user-centered design of mobile applications
• Ability to demonstrate creative and relevant design examples and techniques
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and process
• Understanding of mobile development technology standards
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as other products in the Adobe CS Suite

Portfolio / Reel Guidelines:

• Reels should be on DVD (NTSC)
• Reels should be no longer than 4-5 minutes and should consist of your best work beginning with your most recent projects.
• Reels should be labeled with your name, the position you’re applying for and contact information.  This will be helpful if your reel happens to get separated from your resume.
• Portfolios should not contain original work since submissions will not be returned.
