Modeler
Details of position:
Background modeler: background modeling and related texturing
Character modeler: character modeling and related texturing

Required qualifications:
At least 3 years experience with Maya and Photoshop. Candidates with experience only in game modeling are not qualified.
Experience modeling with Maya is more important than ability to use ZBRUSH.
Please submit the following:
Length of time spent producing each piece, along with comments, etc. The final image alone is not acceptable.
Minimum 3 examples each of: wireframe image, gray scale image, rendering image.
Submissions that cover characters, sets and props are preferred, but those using only 1 type are also acceptable.
If possible, please submit both Maya data (.mb) and texture data (.psd files not necessary).
Character Rigger
Details of position:
Setting up bones (skeleton) for characters and setting up deformers.
Applications used: Maya.
Layout Artist
Details of position:
Place cameras and models for use in animatics. (Scene set up and previz.)
Applications used: Maya.
*Applicant should be able to read story boards, know how to hook up shots, and be capable of basic Maya operations.
Effect Artist
Details of position:
Use Maya particles and fluids to create smoke, explosions, water, and destruction effects, in addition to special lighting effects.You will be responsible for rendering and compositing the effect as well.
Required skills:
Adaquate observation and understanding of natural phonemom and natural laws applied to outputting a final product that matches the director's vision.
The ability to complete tasks in a limited time frame while pursuing a more efficient work flow.
The ability to cooperate and communicate with a team.
*Experience with the following is preferable:
Experience creating tools for improving work efficiency, as well as experience developing complicated and high level effects with MEL, Python, or other coding languages.
*Experience creating effects with RealFlow and Houdini.
Applications used: Maya(Required), Nuke(Beginners welcome), After Effects.
*Experience with the following tools is preferable:ReaFlow and Houdini.
Lighting/Rendering/Compositing
Details of position:
Creating the final rendered image using Maya, After Effects, and Nuke.
*Nuke experience not required.
CG Supervisor

Design overall CG look for a project and its pipeline.

Create shaders for Mental Ray.

Look Development Artist
Details of position:
Design look for characters, backgrounds, and props, as well as ensure renderability.

Simulation Artist
Responsible for creating simulations for cloth, hair/fur, and crowds.
Desired skills:Experience with creating either cloth, hair, or crowd simulation.
(Even better if you have experience working with a team or as a leader!)
*Experience setting up simulation preferred.

Plug-in/Tool Development Programmer

Develop programs for CG production work, in addition to creating plug-ins and scripts for Maya, Nuke, etc.

Languages used: C{{, Python, MEL. (Applicant should be proficient in one of the three.)
Workflow/Pipeline Programmer
Details of position:
Create tools to automate the transfer of data between all stages of production, develop web applications, design databases, and write other IT programming.
Applications used: Maya, After Effects, and other development tools.
Languages used: All language families, including Java script, PHP, and SQL
