POSITION : Paint Fix Artist

LOCATION : Redwood City, CA

Paint Fix Artist

• Digitally alter and fix frames with paint and compositing tools using After Effects and Photoshop
• Review each film frame and check for binding issues and other technical problems

Qualifications

• Must have a great working knowledge of After Effects 6.5 and Photoshop CS
• A minimum of one year work experience in a production environment
• Great visualization and artistic skills with an eye for detail and realism
• Efficient and speedy work practices for quick turn-around time under deadline pressure
• Please be highly motivated and passionate about your work and have a positive attitude

Bonus:

• Knowledge of 3D Animation Pipeline
• BFA or similar art background / equivalent experience
• Traditional art skills- demonstrated eye for light, shadow, composition, and color
• UNIX or Linux operating system experience
• Film production experience

Portfolio / Reel Guidelines:

• All artistic submissions should include:
• Resume
• DVD formatted demo reel and/or portfolio
• Breakdown which describes your specific contribution to the work

• Reels should be on DVD (NTSC)
• Reels should be no longer than 4-5 minutes and should consist of your best work beginning with your most recent projects.
• Reels should be labeled with your name, the position you’re applying for and contact information.  This will be helpful if your reel happens to get separated from your resume.
• Portfolios should not contain original work since submissions will not be returned.
• By submitting your reel and/or portfolio, you agree that the submission will be governed by the policy for reel and portfolio submissions set forth in the TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT .
